As no arms appear to be available as an alternative a complete early style ( ie with the riveted ends ) that I can refurbish would be great

cheers
Ian

I have an ancient and tatty pair somewhere; I am not sure if they are riveted. Once I have found them I will update.

Correction: I should have said I had two, but they are not a pair. One is riveted and one is not.

Unfortunately, the centre arm of the riveted one has at some time been broken and welded back together again; see photo.

If all else fails, the repaired arm could be tidied up. Is it of any interest?

Thank You Gentlemen

Simon - yes I had contacted VCSA and am still awaiting a response

Coracle - could be a good solution with a bit of fettling, I'll just check if Adrian's Father has one first

Adrian - yes I would appreciate it if your father could check his spares.

The shocker is for PA 1677 the Don Moore car restored to standard 2 seater configuration in the 1960s but now needing much TLC

regards
Ian

Ian,

Happy to be a last resort; I'll pop them back on the shelf (in the heap) for now.

Thank you for your acknowledgment- so often people ask for help or advice and never bother to acknowledge the suggestions offered.
