Does anyone have a copy of MG magazine #36 they would part with?
This is the front cover
I have just discovered there is a photo of my 18/80 in it at Brooklands in 1930
It is on Ebay but the ones there either don't post to New Zealand or want a stupid amount to ship it from the US
(My next challenge will be to track down the original of the photo- I wonder if Mike A still has it) |

Hello Kevin. Regarding the original photograph of your car, it is very likely that Mike Allison still has it. Have you thought of asking him ? He won't bite.

Yes, I've emailed him this evening. I do know though that he has previously passed on some of his early 18/80 material to specialists, and also some of his articles were illustrated with photos held by the magazine itself, so it isn't a given that Mike has the photo. I live in hope though! |

If you find the magazine in the US, you can have it shipped to my address and I'd be happy to forward it to you at regular US postal rates. Also, I have the magazine and can scan the article, if you like.
