I am finishing rebuilding a L Type that has been in rebuild for a number of years via various people and as a result some of the parts have gone missing , I have managed to source everything except an oil pump and was hoping somone could help me with one

Hi Trevor, welcome to the Forum where you will find much information and advice on the Triple-M cars.
You mention you are restoring an L2. We do not have you recorded on the data base as owning an L type and as such I will contact you for details of your car.
There were only 90 L2 Magnas produced and about 54 are known to have survived - the chassis numbers start L2. There are numerous 4 seat Magna L1s which have been re-bodied in the style of the L2 and some are often wrongly described as L2s. There is one car currently on the market which was initially described as one of only 17 L2s surviving, this was corrected after I contacted the vendor to advise them the car is an L1.
