Hi Tim, J oil pumps are scarce as so many J engines were lost years ago when cranks broke. The pump came into the MG world on the Wolseley B6 engine when used in F Magna ... so ask your Wolseley friends.... and then used on the C-type... at some stage the D and all J engines. S & V did a kit which put a spacer on top of the Late Minor/M-type pump allowing the use of the deeper gears...if they don't have any expect Taff could make you one and dowel it to a "thin" pump body for you. J engines did not have any oil filter only the wire gauze strainer in the sump. C,D and J same size. Believe Baynton Jones intend/are making sump strainers. FOZ |
