Hello, I am really in trouble with my front camshaft stand and have been unsuccessfully trying to find another one or in fact a pair. Sports and Vintage don't have any and I am now hoping I can buy one elsewhere. Any suggestions please.

Hi Ian,
Minor,M,D and F front camstand pair are the same only in iron. Should allow a wider search.

I now think the J Type front camstand has smaller rocker shafts than M Type. S & V catalogue (they have no stock) shows M D J F as the same but the rear camstand fits J alone. So if I find alternative camstands then I will need to have them bushed?

Hi,
You are wrong, the rocker shafts are all 3/8” diameter.
