1933 race on Isle of Man. 230 miles. Heaps of MGs featured. Won by a Riley. Freddie Dixon ( was that the White Riley) . Great bit of film.

Thanks for posting the film, Simon, most enjoyable.
Dixon is driving what appears to be a Riley 6. I will have to check. But definitely not the White Riley.( though itself also a six cylinder car)
Cheers,
Chris

Interesting thanks. Is there a list of entrants for that race anywhere does anyone know?
Not surprising the K3 axle broke when you look at the cars pitching and bouncing around on the poor road surface for a couple of hundred miles.

The K3 rear axle was subsequently fitted with a 4 star differential instead of the earlier 2 star!
