Hello all, It is with a heavy heart we have to announce the sad passing of Derek Moore on Monday 13th February.
Derek had been a member of the MG Car Club since the late 1950's - spending a life time devoted to MG's with his P-type AVP 342.
It would mean a huge amount to the family to see a couple of MG's at the funeral so please feel welcome to join.
Derek's funeral will be on Monday, February the 27th at 14:00 at Sedgemoor Crematorium, Stretcholt Bridgwater Somerset TA6 4SR
The wake afterwards is still to be confirmed but I will follow with information as soon as possible. It would be great to see you there. Best, Adrian Moore

Hello Adrian.
I am sorry to read that Derek has passed away.
I met Derek when we moved to Bristol in 1968, he was a true enthusiast who regularly used his prized PA in events such as the driving tests organised at Cheddar by Steve Dear etc. Derek was a part of a group of Triple-M owners based in the South West, including the likes of Charlie Shepstone and of course Steve Dear.
My condolences to you and family.

Deepest sympathies, Adrian. I met your dad on only a few occasions, but spoke with him on the phone not so long ago, when he was alert, sharp-witted and still very interested and enthusiastic about our cars. What a loss to our community, but the family line continues…

Sad news indeed, Adrian. I think I first met your Dad at one of those very early Cheddar meetings, or possibly he came up to Brighton with Steve Dear to collect the PB Cracker, JB 7521. Can't now remember as it was so long ago. What particularly impressed me was his wide smile. Almost as wide as my own. A sure sign "having a good day". Colin B. |

Hi all, the wake will be held at the woodborough Inn in Winscombe after the crematorium. We welcome any MG's!
