Thank you everyone who has been in touch to express interest in attending Silverstone in four weeks' time.
Would any of you be interested in offering an hour or two of your help on the Saturday or Sunday to assist us in and around our marquee?
Duties will not be onerous, meeting people and enjoying their company, keeping an eye on the display cars (K3s and L types and others), helping sell some of our Library items and suchlike....
All offers will be gratefully received!
For those of you who are planning to attend, here is a preliminary layout plan which shows where our Register's marquee will be situated. It's right next to the start of the 100 car MG timeline in which 26 Triple-M cars will be featured.
Thank you!

Dick, I don't suppose you have a map of the paddock area for competitors by any chance ? I need to see the space for our 32 foot transporter and motorhome ! |

Here is some fresh news which may be of interest to any Triple- M owners attending MG100 at Silverstone on June 10 and 11!
UPDATE TO TIMES At 12:30 on Saturday June 10 and at 10:45 on Sunday June 11 there are to be Triple-M car parades in the main event arena. These will be 20 minute slots when cars will be circulating the arena and there's an opportunity for some owners to be interviewed by the MC, Wayne Scott.
Cars need to be ready 15 mins before the above times.
It's great that we have this opportunity to put our cars in the limelight. If you would like your car to be included please could you reply here asap or contact me directly so that we can draw up a shortlist.
Many thanks!

More Silverstone news ..
There will be 11, yes 11 K3s at this event - that's one third of these cars.
6 displayed in and around our MMM marquee and 5 racing.
And much, much more to salivate over....

More news - welcome to our new home at Silverstone. Currently lying empty but will be filling up during Friday with choice cars and exhibits.
Have you got your tickets yet? We'd hate you to miss the show!

Great news on the K3s..
The cars on display will be joined by 3 L types one of which is very historic.

Hello everyone, we were overwhelmed by the amount of interest and support that the register received around Silverstone over the weekend. It included cars in the racing paddock and around the race track where some incredible performances were put in. Our cars were also in the limelight in various arena displays and in the timeline It must be many a day since so many Triple-M cars were seen in one place.
So huge thanks to absolutely everybody involved in making all this happen. You all know who you are but I will be contacting many of you individually when I can find a spare moment.
Facebook is currently crawling with photographs and videos of the event, so even if you don’t find them right here, do you take a look at Facebook because there will be much to interest you!
We were proud that our marquee won best in show award! And so it should, with its amazing collection of cars including the 14/28 bullnose, four K3s including two of the 1934 Mille Miglia team cars, as well as 4 L types.
I could go on, but I shouldn’t!
I will close with a bit of housekeeping because somebody who visited our marquee left behind a pair of reading(?) glasses. I have them safely at home and will be happy to pass them on to whoever they belong to.

Wow, what a wonderful weekend MG100 was. As Dick mentions, it was a great team effort not just from those on the committee but also our wonderful band of volunteers that enabled the weekend to run so smoothly and to be a huge success. The head of it all was our Secretary, Dick Morbey, who put in a considerable amount of work and I hope I won’t get into trouble from him by mentioning that at the BBQ on the Saturday evening he was awarded the MG Car Club’s Marque of Friendship Award for his outstanding contribution to the MG Car Club over a number of years and being someone that has gone above and beyond in both time and effort in the promotion of Triple-M motoring within the Triple-M Register. His award was presented by Club Chairman, Dave Tynan, and is very well deserved.
