Sub-titled: “All You Ever Wanted to Know About J Type Midgets But Were Afraid to Ask

I’m pleased to say that the 2022 Yearbook is now on sale in the Library - https://triple-mshop.org/products-page/yearbooks-and-register/current-yearbook-2022-edition/

This bumper, 104-page Yearbook majors on the J Types, numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and even 5, which celebrated their ninetieth anniversary in 2022.

My grateful thanks to all who contributed to it.

Simon, very well done and a big thank to you and all contributors from all of us.

Timing is ideal for Silverstone where, thanks to Dick, the latest printed Register should also be on sale.

Any methods other than Paypal?

Thanks

Awesome! Will have to grab a copy at Silverstone, it will make for a nice read on the long flight home.

Thanks all.

If you send me an email on info@triple-mshop.org I can advise. Or wait till next week and Phone Ineke at Kimber House as I am sending her a box of books and you can use a credit card, or best yet pick up a copy at MG100 Silverstone and save the post.

I received my complimentary copy of the Yearbook this morning.

Wow! Simon, you have done an amazing job! A truly professional publication that reflects great credit, both on yourself and on the Register.

This Yearbook will be a sell-out and I'm going to insist on paying for my copy.

Cheers! JOHN JAMES J3656.

You’re very kind, John - thank you. But I must also pay tribute to Ted Koehorst, our designer, who does what I think is an outstanding job in taking plain text and some photos and turning them into a visual delight.

Simon,

I am not the "Originality Police" but isn't the clock that has been added to your J2 (Page 33 of the Year Book) more appropriate for a MIG rather than an MG? Perhaps mine is a Russian copy.

You are quite correct, Nigel, but had you read on to page 35 you would have seen exactly how I came by it, and what its provenance is. And it’s rather more sophisticated than yours having an additional elapsed time dial.

Meanwhile, back on thread….

Fantastic job on the Yearbook, Simon. Really impressive. An awful lot of work needed to produce something of that standard.

Well done you!

I haven't progressed beyond gazing at the photos yet; it is such a fulsome publication.

Thank you Andrew. I believe the term is 'trolling'

Many thanks also for your kind words, and thank you for your contribution.

(For those who haven’t yet got their copy, Andrew, and John James (see above), along with other well known and not so well known names in the world of J2s, contributed their reminiscences of J2 motoring in the 1960s and 70s, so thanks also to Barry Walker, Fred Boothby, Terry Holden, Pete Adams, Dudley Smith and Mike Dowley.)
