Thanks for posting the Jarvis plate which is very interesting to me as I wrote up the Jarvis Story for a publication called "MG World -75" and it was amended and published again in the MMM YB2011.
Any info on Jarvis bodied cars is still of interest. Standard bodied MG cars sold by Jarvis as a sub-agent were most often registered with PG, PJ or PL letters and then numbers which are "Guildford" registrations. Thanks
Is this Jarvis plate really an original one, after 90 years it would most certainly have tarnished ! Like all other original body, engine and chassis plates they were silver or tin plated wherent they?
