Hard to place a value on this sort of project in the current market.

How much is a new body and wings and rest of the body work these days? Looks a really good buy |

Agreed - the kit is probably worth less than the sum of the parts. But there's a lot to do and spend to turn this into a £15k car, for example probably £5k on the engine alone. |

It’s a great buy the current market is a bit dodgy but M types still seem popular done properly it will be worth best part of 20k a few years ago this kit would of been best part of 10k he’s priced it to sell it. It’s even got the correct radiator and the original windscreen which are the 2 hardest things to get on a m type |

Does it matter what it’s eventually worth? I payed 10K for my D in bits, spent a multitude on it since and wont recover nearly what I put in if I ever wanted to sell. Now since it is a hobby and it gives me joy that doesn’t matter.
5K is a great entry level but you will not make money off it and that should not matter. I hope someone will just get to enjoy it

Hear, hear Onno. I'm in the process of restoring the M I've owned for nearly 50 years & have deliberately not totalled up my expenditure. The restoration is a hobby not a money making exercise! Geoff. |

Hate to think what I've spent on Project cars over the years (of various types, mostly octagonal in nature) - but I've had so much pleasure and reward from them, I like to think that it has been worth every penny.
I guess the observation regarding the price of the car in parts is more about whether you'd be better off trying to find a more complete car to start your project from. And that is a fair comment - but if you enjoy the challenge of putting this all together and finding the missing bits, well... £5k seems like a great place to start |

Knowing the vendor I'm sure that he'd do that! If not I'm local enough and would do it for you. |

Here are the captions from the reverse of two of those snapshots, both of which are in my possession.
