Can anyone recomend an alternative UK based supplier of new J/P type 19 inch wire wheels. Both MWS and Richards can supply the far eastern built ones and the latter company will also build their own high quality wheels but at a substantial cost.
Phil Hallewell says that he can no longer supply them because rims are not available. I asked him when they might be and his reply simply said " dont hold your breath " !
Robin H suggested a firm in Manchester but they have not replied to my enquires.
I therefore wonder if anyone else knows of an alternative source or maybe someone has some rebuildable S/H wheels they will sell.

Tony margle built up a new wheel for my M Type and his service was excellent

Terry,

I suggest you contact James Wheildon in Salisbury. I know that he had 19" rims in stock about 6 months ago, however I do not know the source, as my own rims were suitable for reconditioning.

You will find James's contact details on the "suppliers" forum.

I would also recommend James Weildon. He gave me ann excellent service on rebuilding my wheels.
