The two wires coming off the Dynamo should these come off on the Distributor side (O/S) or the Nearside? On my one (running) M Type they come off on the distributor side, on my other (not yet running M Type) they come off the Nearside. Blower refers to them coming off the distributor side - is it possible my Dynamo could hvane been put back in the wrong way when the engine was rebuilt? Can I test this?

My car has the original wiring loom (not advisable!). The wires come off on the distributor side.

Thanks John, thats what my working model indicates - I wonder if there is a way I can test this, or if anybody else has anything to add?
