I have been contacted by the son who is looking to sell his late father's J2.
I am awaiting some more information but understand the car has been dry stored in a garage since 1963. It was modified as it has hydraulic brakes and a Ford engine. Otherwise I am told the car is complete but obviously requires a total rebuild.
Apparantly one person offered £2500 which was turned down!
I will be getting some photos, chassis number etc and hope the car will shortly be advertised on our web site.

The advert should appear in the cars for sale web page in a couple of days.
I have been looking for my old 1932 J2 for many years now. It was chassis number J2024 registration JB659. When I owned it it was painted BRG although originally when it left the factory it was painted red. In the mid 1960s it had a Ford E93A engine and Morris hydraulic brakes. I lost track of it in the Trowbridge area of Wiltshire.
Could this be my old mistress? Can you make my day or tell me that my search must go on?
Ah ha - just taken a look. Thanks you for letting me know. What a sad looking J2. Not mine I am afraid but it got the adrenalin going again thinking that it might be!
