Firstly, apologies for the non-Triple M content.

I have a friend currently living in Oz who wishes to purchase an MGA. Neither he nor I know much about these cars although I have said I will put something on this forum in the hope that it might reach somebody who could perhaps give him some guidance with regard to buying an MGA in Australia.

Thanks

There is a very good MGA section on the MG Webring Bulletin Board. He can either post his question there or search their archives where buyers advice may have already been covered. If he is not a member of his local MG car club, then he may wish to join before he buys a car for the advice and contacts they can provide. Some of the larger clubs have their own MGA section or register. Which part of Australia?

Cheers,
Matthew.

kimber,

The following may help in locating cars for sale, the first is probably the best to start as it lists the MG Car Clubs in Australia, all of which have buy/sell listings. He would be advised to contact either the Sydney, Newcastle or Hunter region Clubs and are ask who is the MGA guru in the club to point him in the right direction.

www.mgcc.com.au

The Healey factory is in Melbourne

www.healeyfactory.com.au

these sites are general car sales sites but usually have a selection of MGAs for sale.

www.carpoint.com.au
www.carsales.com.au

Hope this helps, I live in Brisbane but do not know of any good MGAs for sale

cheers
