I am sorry to learn that David has lost his battle with cancer, and passed away at the beginning of December. For almost as long as I can remember, Dave was one of the stars of T-Register racing, for many years in his distinctive red and green blown TB and more recently in the Parson M.G. XPAG engined Special. He was not only a racer however, as he was a frequent and effective trialsman with the TB and as recently as April of this year he took the top honours at the S.W. Centre Kimber Trial in the Yeovil area. What is not so widely known is that he was "one of us" having bought a 1934 ND which he was restoring until his illness overtook him.

I am sure that you will join me in expressing our condolencies to the Clewley family at their loss.

Colin B.
