Hi All,
I have just joined the MG Car Club having succumbed to a 1932 J2 which I purchased back in September (J2517). The car has been with Andy King for an engine overhaul which also involved the fitment of a Phoenix crank/rods, clutch replacement, carb rebuild and general re-commission. Andy did a fantastic job! I am an Aussie living in Dublin and I brought the car across from the UK a week or so back. Having owned/driven a number of veteran and vintage cars back in OZ(I still own some of these machines), I must say the J2 is an impressive drive. I look forward to learning more and conversing with the MMM team.
Cheers,
Peter

Hi Peter

Thanks for the call last night, pleased to see you managed to get your ID sorted to get onto the forums. I must add that I'm very impressed that your young looks don't hold you back from MMM ownership!

Joking aside, welcome on board and if my experience is much to go by, you'll find the forums a font of all knowledge.

Happy motoring.

Regards

Robin

Hello Peter, and here's wishing you a very warm welcome to the Triple-M community!

I'm glad that you are pleased with your purchase, that it has been nicely sorted and able to give of its best and that it's giving you enjoyment.

As Robin says there is a huge fund of information and support available through these pages. Much of that info sits within the website archives, so if you search on any particular item or topic, remember to tick the 'archived posts' box and you'll be able to see the entire resource.

You can also contact Forum members off line. Just click on the member's name and you can e-mail that person by clicking "E-mail User:"

And finally (for now!) you can also contact our committee members and other specialists - click 'Contacts' on the website home page for all this info.

ALl good wishes

Hi Peter

I am also impressed with your young looks!

Welcome to the Triple-M world, as you will soon find out this web site is a mine of information. You can also obtain information on our Yearbooks, Library and bi-monthly Bulletin from the web site.

Should you require one I can supply a Triple-M metal badge engraved with the Register number of your J2. Order forms in the Document download page.

Best regards

George
