Hi,
If someone happens to be passing their PA dashboard with a tape measure, could they measure the distance between the openings for the two rows of milometer numbers please.
I'm after the dimension shown below .
Many Thanks Paul.

Perhaps I am seeing things, but the photo of the milometre panel in Paul's post seems to be a photo of my PA, which happens to be in Chicago. Just curious about it's source. The facia and all burled detail seems to match perfectly, one of the beautiful seqouia vaneers that Craig Seabrook in Ohio provides. If it's not PA1212, it would at least be interesting for me know who might have one just as nice!

I found the picture at some point in the not too distant past by doing a Google Images search and came across a number of pictures by a Tom Strongman, which I had saved as reference pictures.
I think this related to a car that had the UK registration 'AON 652'

What the chassis is though I have no idea....

Thanks, Paul. I'm quite positive this is my car with original registration BYF 537. I could be mistaken but it would be quite a concidence. The car has been at a number of MG gatherings in the US and photos happily enter the world of the internet, shared for our mutual benefit.

Yes, I know this car and its owner. The dashboard was also done by Craig Seabrook, and while I have not found the actual Strongman photo online, it helps explain my confusion. Beautiful photos and a beautiful PA. |
