Hi all,

Without a Sprint at MG Live this year we dont have a main event on the Hill Climb calender apart from the traditional September Wiscombe MGCC date.

It would be great if we could target this event in 2012 to get a really stong entry.

Sat September 8th run by the MGCC South West Centre.

I will be happy to host an informal BBQ on the Friday night prior to the event in the top paddock campsite ahead of the event.

Let me know your thoughts and I ll update more info nearer the time

Thanks

M

PS: PB is back in action, targeting Brooklands as first event this year in June. Amazing day at the rolling road yesterday with very pleasing results!!!

Mark - sounds a great idea MGCC Wiscombe is already in our diary. All things being equal we will be down there for a practice on the new surface next month with VSCC. Glad to hear that the PB is back on the road - hope all those spokes are tight again for Brooklands(!)our entries are in so hopefully should see you there.
All the best Philip

Hello Mark,
An update on Wiscombe - your Class seems to have a good entry already. I spoke to Howard Harman last weekend at Shelsley and he is definitely entering, so is Fred Boothby. Howard's P Type is going really well, I struggled to keep ahead of him with my Hornsey Kit Car! You should all be neck and neck. I was most impressed with your time at Brooklands. Are there any others you can encourage to enter in my Class, up to 1100cc? My P is going well, no misfires now that I keep enough fuel in the tank! Sadly I won't be bale to join you for a BBQ on the Friday at Wiscombe. Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.
Cheers - Andrew

I left it a bit late (!), but Bruce Weston has kindly slotted me in. I will be there with the M-type.

Well done to all, what a fab day in the sunshine at Wisc.

Great to see so many friendly faces out and about.

For those who were snapping away please send me Photos for the write up.

Havent seen the results but the weather and improved surface certainly seemed to produce some quick times!

There's a stunning photo of Ian rounding Wis Corner on the Wiscombe Park web-site gallery (http://www.wiscombepark.co.uk/).
And many thanks to Phil BP, without who's towing assistance, we wouldn't even have made it down to the line for practice!
