I am taking PA 1691 in for an MOT on Saturday after a year long rebuild, The guy doing the job is a client of mine and he asked me to take in the V5 as it saves time he also asked if the cars weight was on the V5 as he needs to know what it is. Well its not on the V5 so can anyone tell me the weight of my PA please? Rodney.PS wish me luck!!

Rodney,

The listed weight is 14 3/4 cwts if it is a 2 seater or 15 1/4 cwts if it is a 4 seater.

Peter.

George,

Swept wings and running boards fitted and full weather equipment, in other words as it left the factory.

Has anyone weighed the car and axles separately?
I just weighed my whole PA which surprisingly did come to 750kg exactly, including jack and tools and half a tank of fuel).
However the back axle seemed to be 480kg, which strikes me as too much considering two people will almost sit on it too. 4.00-19 tyres are nowdays quoted at about 250kg max load (e.g. Dunlop) so this is really at their limit. Perhaps noone bothered in the 30's
