Hardly the "oldest known surviving car"! Both 2M0259 and 2M0262 exist in the US and 72 others earlier than 2M0747 exist elsewhere.

Like the fact that the chassis has been "re-rusted" !!
Would that get extra concours points or does the rust need to be "original" rust??
Is this re-rust available commercially? or is it a bit like the tins or jars of Lucas smoke.

Lew, I think the ad means the oldest survuvor M made in Abingdon. At least that is how I read it.

Tony, your notes are always great. If the ad meant "De" rust, maybe we can obtain the old original rust on ebay.
