MGCC at Silverstone again I m predicting 78?

I'd go for somewhere between 1965 & 68, with Syd Beer in the K3 & Bruce in the Q Type. I'll have the programme somewhere at home so can look it up.

Probably 1965 or 66. The blue TD alongside the Ex Harvey Noble Q type was driven by Dick Ward who was a student friend of mine at De- Havillands. We went our ways after 1966.

This meeting was the 21/05/66 MGCC Silverstone Race Meeting. However the driver of the K3 is none other than Mike Allison! The Q Type is driven by Malcolm Beer, not Bruce. Strangely, they are entered in the 5 Lap scratch Race for "MG;TC;TD & MGA excluding disc braked cars". Mike won (as he jolly well should in the K3) & Malcolm came in 7th.

No 114 - R Stenson, MGA. No 106 - M Vincent, TC. & what No 70 - J Spencer, Midget is doing on the grid anybody knows!
