A short while ago I purchased a gallon of "Acid Alloy Wheel Cleaner" from a stall at a car boot sale - the guy was selling all manner of car cleaning chemicals. I initially used it to clean the M Type's sump which it did superbly but have recently found it to be an excellent rust remover for steel. It smells just like Jenolite so it's probably phosphoric acid but at £5 a gallon it's a bargain. Remember though, as the guy on the New Yankie Workshop says there is no more important safety item than a pair of goggles.
