Duncan Bridel has kindly given me a few more photographs of MMM cars from the late sixties, although is unable to recall specifics. He would be glad if they can provide any recollections they may bring. He thought this one may have been belonging to Syd Beer and it would have been around 67, 68

Not at all sure Paul, I'll have to get a magnifying glass on the original, I can't make out for certain by eye. |

I think Cat is right, but it looks like the same car in white in the background of the thread 'which six cylinder?'. It looks white in the few other pics I've seen, so its still a bit of a mystery!
ps Just dug out Boddy's Brooklands book and in the pic of GP Harvey-Nobles car the tail has a headrest and looks rather taller than either of these, but obviously changes could have been made...Froy also had a similar single seat MG, could it be that one?

I don't think it is the ex Harvey Noble Q type which I remember as being cream in the 1960's when Malcolm Beer raced it at Brands Hatch. Keith |

It is the Harvey Noble car, it was red when Statham (who did at least 1 MGCC Silverstone)owned it prior to Sid Beer.

In 1953 this car was owned by a Mr Ridley and was painted red. So this photo must be pre Beer, as I don't recognise the driver. I have a very poor photo of the same car in my records taken in 1953. Allan |

The car is the ex-Harvey Noble Q-Type (Brooklands lap record holder ) & the driver is Tony Statham . Photo taken about 1963. |
