Lovely period photo of a J1 and attractive young ladies. I was intrigued by the sign on the tree and it would seem that the girl in the fur coat is leaning on the "Blowing Stone" which Google tells us is located about 5 miles west of Wantage off the B4507 at or near the village of Kingstone Lisle.Not that far from Abingdon.It must then have had a lockable cover hence the need for a key apparently obtained on payment unspecified and name entered in "book provided" Was the J1 driven there without plates or trade plates removed for photo?
