Excellent news. I understand that Prescott was oversubscribed by some 80 applicants. So thirteen cars is perhaps more than we could have hoped for.

That's two excellent week-ends coming up with eight cars at Mallory this Sunday and then thirteen cars at Prescott, two weeks later. And all for us to watch in brilliant sunshine. Good luck to you all.

Hi Mark

Well done on gaining an entry! I am sorry to note that Mike Dowley is not entered.

Peter - we have also got Pre-war Prescott this Saturday with some 22 Triple-M cars taking part.

And a good weather forecast as well.

Hi George, I don't pretend to understand the selection process. For me I get an entry every other year which I ve now got used to and am happy with.

Surprised about Mike if he was rejected. The Evans C Type was one of the first cars ever to compete at Prescott pre war. Would have thought it earned an entry regardless of volume of entries like a number of others that are there every yr!

Anyway enjoy Pre war pres!

Cheers Oli, see ya there.

Plenty of good reading in the Prescott BOC Library regarding the first Timed events on the Hill, as I say Doreen Evans was present in the C Type.

I have started documenting the history of Triple Ms at Prescott . I ve got up to 1960, so need to head back to the library at some point to continue my investigations. Really helpful chaps that were very welcoming. So I promise at some point there will be a Yearbook article on the subject!

If Mike Dowley has hung up his helmet I would like to see Ollie nominated as driver!

The C type certainly has good potential, I can recall seeing the late Colvin Gunn storming up Shelsley Walsh in a very determined and fast style.

If Mike has retired I expect that could also mean he would want to sell my old PB ARY614! I would love to have the old car back but it is now just a pure racer running on Methanol.

It is very strange being talked about as though I am not around any more! Shades of 'Reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated'! It is true that I have not competed much this year -I would have done so at MGCC Silverstone had it not been for the non-arrangements made for the MMM cars at this Meeting. We have been extremely busy at S&V this year and something had to give. I will however be exercising the C type at the Pre-war Prescott Meeting and look forward to meeting other MMM'ers there.

Mike , please try to be not too busy for next year . I am relying on you to enter MG Silverstone in 2014 - we need all the racers we can get , and I am speaking to those who have indeed 'hung up their helmet' to get the thing down again .
