Hi Chaps

Just a note to say there is a good triple M entry for next Saturdays end of season bash at Goodwood. J2, PA, 2 PBs, Bellevue and 2 C Types.

For a bit of fun Duncan and I, in the C Type and PB will be running stripped, The cars look pretty good too! We will be trying our luck in Class 13!!!

Anyway hope to see many of you there, its always a great friendly meeting and a nice way to end the speed events of the year!

See you Sat

Mark

This is always a super meeting, and is free to get in (apart from the necessity of buying a programme for about three quid.) If it is going to be anything like last year, it is essential that you wear pyjamas, covered by at least two layers of thermal underwear, a good "forties" sports jacket and brown corduroy trousers plus a thick Barbour jacket on top. It was soooooooo cold !

Yes well worth coming to just for the Paddock atmosphere.
Mark given that it is Goodwood and the number of other quick cars running I suspect that it is a bit of forlorn hope that I could keep Ian away from winning the Championship - shall just have to ask the great leveller to provide some wet leaves to help me!
Is this some sort of clever wheeze - running stripped in the Racing Car Class - that you and Duncan have to give yourselves a better chance in the Championship by being lighter than normal.
See you all on Saturday
Philip

Good to get the excuses out early Phil!

No plan on my behalf, just like the look! Bit of fun see if it makes difference.

As Colin says last year was Arctic. All this talk of stripping is giving me the shivers, Cyprus to this beautiful UK autumn must be a shock!

Think sunshine for Saturday!!! Goodwood is a pretty slippy place in wet. This is an awesome clip from the revival meeting (Once you skip the ads), Kelly Brack in the GT40...Reminds me of Ian Baxter wrestling the Bellevues power twitches!

Great shots!

just awful conditions, especially the last run, Not a day For records but a good one for experience!

Biggest challenge was the foot deep puddle in the tunnel at the end of the day, thought that type of test was reserved for the kimber!

Great to see so many out to watch from the MG community. Always a nice way to end the season.

Yes the splash at the end of the tunnel was fun didn't notice it until too late as I was too busy listening to engine engine crescendo in tunnel - never mind I was already soaked .
But what a great day despite the weather and what fun.
