Those of us decadent enough to watch after lunch TV without falling asleep may have seen on today's "Father Brown" a bit of what purported to be a Prescot hill climb in which a "Bellevue " MG appeared. Our victim's car, a vintage Frazer Nash apparently had brake failure, crashing in flames on a bend, hydraulic?? pipes having been cut. All good fun!
Simon.

You can see it on iPlayer here:http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03q5vlj/Father_Brown_Series_2_The_Laws_of_Motion/. The first 13 minutes have lots of lovely vintage shots, starting with the GN Spider 2, I think.

That was a good tip, Colin as I actually missed most of the first part. Simon.

The Spider was in fact the first incarnation rather than the second, the venue was indeed Shelsley Walsh.
It's amazing how many people and 3 days worth of filming are needed for the aforementioned 13 minutes of footage!
Did anyone spot the K3 leaving the Startline in the opening sequences??
