Does anyone know of a possible source for these rubbers ? Images of two examples attached. They were previously available through one of our suppliers but are no longer. I can get them made but the cost will be high because of the initial tooling costs. Any suggestions ?

Rich I don't know off hand but the head of the casting is 1 3/4 inch OD and the rubbers are about 3/8 inch deep.

Terry, these are the same size as the M Type rubbers.I would be interested in obtaining some . What constitutes a viable number? Rich

don't S+V sell 'Wingstay Bracket Rubber Mouldings M,D,J,F,P,K

Part No 1336 £6.50 each' as seen on their website?

Apologies if this is the 'original supplier'!

Robert thanks but they are the standard J2 type rubbers - different from these in shape size and profile.
Still trying to find an easy solution otherwise will have a batch made but tooling costs are likely to be expensive and each item about £5/6 to make so it would need quite a lot of demand to make this worthwhile and I would prefer not to get involved in making parts again.

If you do decide to get some made, then please put me down for a set!

Terry,
I you want to avoid tooling costs you could get the rubbers made on a Sealmaker machine.

http://www.barnwell.co.uk/pdf/Barnwell%20Sealmaker%20Service.pdf

It is really intended for sealing rubbers but it is programmable and I have had them make special shaped grommets for me in the past so I am sure it could do this profile.

I have a feeling Nigel Watts made some of these in the right size - it was a few years back though

I've given you the number of his daughter. He was around a couple of months ago because he phoned me. Regards, JOHN
