I have been given some cigarette cards depicting MGs by someone who knows about my interest and is getting rid of his rubbish!!!
They were produced by Imperial Tobacco and there seem to be lots on eBay: "Grandee Famous MG Marques"
I wonder if anyone has nos 7, 15, 17 and 23 spare?
I have 2, 4, 19, and 21 as swaps...
Gosh, doesn't this bring back memories. Haven't swapped cards since I was at school!
I suppose they might look good on the garage wall...
Cheers

Hi Peter. Sorry no swaps or even spares.
But I just wanted to mention that years ago, I was given a whole set of those Grandee cards mounted on the original collecting-card (this is not the thing to do apparently!), but anyhow the whole thing was put into a mount and framed, and is a real talking-point with visitors. I can recommend doing something similar.
It's well worth looking at how collectors mount collectors cards - some mount them in a double-sided glass frame that you can turn around on the wall and see the backs of the cards too!

Peter, I managed to buy a complete set last week for £2.49 including postage!
