AVU 802

Many requests start with a beginning, it may be part way through the life of a vehicle but seeks to find out what happened next. Is it still in existence ? Has it been converted to a special ?

Here is the reverse ..I know how it ended!

AVU 802 was a PA 4 Seater. My brother and I had it in the late 60's. On a return from Glasgow it suffered fatal injuries departing from a trailer on the A580 near St Helens. Some parts I still have but nothing that is really identifiable as being from that individual vehicle.

So we know the end ... do we know anything before ?

AYG 170

I still own. I know very little of its history other than it was sold in Knaresborough to a Mr MC Ellison of Tenter Lodge May 1936

In May 1936 also documents referring to Haslemere Motor Co Ltd Guilford. I presume that they supplied the car to Mr Ellison.

Therafter Mr JE Ashall circa 1946 in Warrington.

I bought it in about 1967 from an address in Cressington Park in Liverpool where it had stood for some years after a cdifferential failure.

Anyone able to provide more info ?
