I note there is a re- conditioned PA gearbox and remote plus clutch for sale on www.prewarcar.com asking price £1900. Too expensive?

The gearbox looks to be very good but the remote is missing the reverse gear flap.

Yes George,
I looked at this gearbox as I need a complete box but, way too pricey and I don't think it has a clutch. It's under the heading MG GEARBOX (& CLUTCH)There is no mention on the advert about a clutch, just says fully rebuilt with remote..
