Good morning. I am in the process of listing my employers 1930 MG M Type Long Tail special, Triple M register number 1077. What paperwork would be needed to sell the vehicle? I have the bill of sale from when we purchased the vehicle back in 2004. Is there any other documents that would have been furnished at the time of sale,a title possibly?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you. Guy |

Guy I think much depends upon which state you are selling it in, they seem to differ quite a bit in their requirements. Nick |

Usually, if it is sold in the US, a registered title is required, just like any other car. In a few states titles are not given to cars over a certain age. In those cases, a notarized bill of sale, and sometimes an affidavit, is required. If selling to overseas, the requirements are totally dependent on the receiving country.
