Does anyone recall Ken Abraham? If he is still around he may be able to help with the background to JB 6569, as he once owned it.

Graham

If it is of any help.
Ken Abraham went on the 1st MMM Raid to New England in 1991
He was driving NA 0589 TJ6409.
If I remember correctly, he was a farmer who turned his land into golf courses.
Never met him before the event nor seen him since.
Philip B-P or Roger Thomas might know more.

Ken farmed near Wedmore in Somerset, I've not heard from him for some time, only yesterday found a photo of JB when we went to Yeovilton some years ago.

Have you tried any people-searching websites?
I use 192.com and it's often useful.
Putting Kenneth Abraham & Somerset, into the search bar brings up a person by that name in Wedmore, Somerset.
If you pay for full access, you will get all the contact details you need.

If you look up Yell.com (free) for Farms in Wedmore, you will not find Abraham listed, but there are phone numbers for other farmers within a mile of Wedmore.
A polite call to one of them might get a contact for Ken?

Often a simple "Google" search can be fruitful. Many people have interests or doings which are recorded in the press or similar places, and that sometimes turns them up.

Maybe they are on Facebook, or Linkdin, which have similar name search facilities.

I always wanted to be a detective when I grew up!

Many thanks, found him now!
He had the first PB - JB 6569.

Does anybody else know who owned the car in the early 60s and before.
Thanks
