If you want to wrap the leaf springs with hemp rope, how thick the hemp should be 5 mm?

I used 3.5mm Glacé cord, dyed black.

You should find Cotton Glacé chord at a Yacht Chandlers. Some old fashioned hardware stores keep it too.

There is a superb article on spring wrapping in the Aug./Sept. 2013 issue of the Bulletin - after reading this article there should be no questions remaining unanswered...

No other priorities to work on??...;;))
