Can anyone suggest a source for the P-type (also D, F1, F3, J1 and N) cast alloy spare wheel carrier boss? VMG list them but Rich Hardy tells me that he doesn't currently have any stock and has no plans to have any more cast in the foreseeable future. If all else fails I will investigate the feasibility of having some cast by a local foundry (the cracked one I have should be fine as a pattern and setting up a CNC lathe to machine the thread shouldn't be a problem) but I suspect this will only be viable if other MMM owners are also in need of this part.
