I have just found this guarantee certificate in the back of a J manual . I have never seen one before and I thought it might be of interest to others.
The son of a one time owner of this car describes his recollection of a four seater. Is the chassis number is in keeping with a J1?
Perhaps the the Register could produce reprints with appropriate details for the MG owner 'who has everything' ? The certificate measures 15"x10" and would look well framed.

Hi Sam I would certainly be up for a copy, my J1 is engine No 944 AJ and Car No J0321. Which must be the car produced before this one. The purchase date I have for my car is the 5/1/1933

Be fab to make repros of this.
Ok it's not the same as an original if you have a repro, but nice to have as a keepsake in a frame perhaps, with details of ones own car filled in, just for recreation's sake!

I was not thinking to reproduce these myself but I am now in touch with someone who might be able to help.
