Didn't know about this.

I was delighted when Brian agreed to make the inaugural presentation of the Don Moore trophy at Silverstone for first 4 cyl car to finish the Triple M race a number of years ago.

There are several mentions of DM in the obit.

It was partly due to Don's achievements with his lightweight P-type* that got him the job with Brian.

*Original chassis now in Australia, original body on my 'recreation' now in Holland, original engine not far from where I sit typing this.... ;-)

In April 1953 Brian Lister raced a Tojeiro JAP at Snetterton. In the same race was D Moore 950 MG and HJ Nicholls 1287 MG which happens to be my car N902. I guess that he had not at that time started building his own cars. Geoff
