I know this car well. It was brought to my house to assess the roll damage in 2008 on the night of the crash whilst the driver was in hospital being attended to. It was pretty bent.
The car is being offered for sale from the owners business address in York. In my view the price is £100K over value. I advised on value last year at around £70k before it failed to sell at Bonhams.
It's a nice car with some history. It raced at Brooklands but so did many and it was not a factory prepared car. The car goes better now than it did in its track day and it was pretty quick then, now with completely rebuilt engine by Ken Robinson and with a Vintage MG Parts enlarged Rad mount casting to accommodate an increased pulley diameter to raise boost from the period Marshall IZ blower installation.
I suspect this car will sit on the forecourt for a long long time until realism sets in!
