In the interests of authenticity does anyone know whether the wheels and hubs on J2's ever have any Rudge Whitworth transfers on them? If so whereabouts on the rims or hubs did they appear.
I gather that there are 3 distinct types of (dry) transfers now available all of approx 1" in diameter.

I used them on my J2. They are very difficult to apply. Does anyone have any application tricks to make the job easier? Mine were purchased from Gregory's Auto Parts.

I used water slide ones on my cars & didn't have a problem. I would think the self stick decal type would be more difficult. I had these made & I stil have some available.
What I did do was to apply some clear lacquer over the decal for protection.

The same question occurred to me too. Do they show up in any old photographs?

Matthew.
