Although I have found this photo of the correct type of escutcheons for my rear boot (salonette) on the Automobilst website ... they are out of stock. Does anyone have any to sell or know where to find a pair please?

it looks very much like the ones on Flatnose Morrises, you might find some among the Morris people. More Flatnoses buit than D types.

ok gents thanks for you help ... the thing was that as we know, Paul Beck is the same company as Automoblist ... so the photos above were taken from that site ... however, the display I got back suggested (because it had a line through the price) that it was out of stock/ not available. Clearly taking another look I see they are in fact in stock ... so all sorted. I also understand (email from Peter Frost)Woolies and Tim Hodgekiss does them too but with different centres, 38mm rather than 35mm.

The ones from Tim Hodgekiss also have a pivoted cover versus the ones from Paul Beck which are hinged.

Try Wollies, I think they do them.

No Woolies don't do them John, only those without ears. I have determined that Automobolist do do them but with p&p and vat it's nearly £40 .... but if there aren't any 2nd-hand ones out then I'll have to bite the bullet.
