This picture was found by Peter Brock who forwarded it in turn to Chris Lambert (Pre War Minor Network) who shared it with me.



It is believed the picture was taken in 1969 somewhere in the North East of England. It appears to be a much modified late M-type. Can anyone identify it and has it survived?

What a lovely period picture - pity the number plate is not visible.

Perhaps someone might recognise the gent standing by the car? I do not recognise him.
