This photo was given to me 30 years ago by an engineer friend who worked on the car in the 50's. On the reverse it says ' fitted with centric supercharger used by previous owner in speed trials . Pictured after rebuild.

But alas the reg is not recorded on the Triple-M Register's listing of cars. A delightful picture, all the same....

The engineer Peter Marks (sadly passed 10 years ago) who gave it to told me it was a metallic green. His friend another Peter owned it. Peter Marks was a Spitfire engineer in the war in Africa, used to tell me how they enlarged the bolt holes in Seafires to stop the wings moving. He made a scooter out of a tail wheel! Helped me with most of my MMM engineering at the time!

What a nostalgic picture - those rear tyres certainly look suitable for trialing on muddy rocky hills.

And to think I bought my first MG - PA1428 - at the end of the fifties......!!
