Great registration number, but doesn't appear to have survived.
Orientation got rotated 90* from landscape to portrait. Should be pushing UPhill !!

Right Sam, I'm gonna guess chassis circa J226X.
Here's the back side info:

'Tis J2124. Nothing known of it today, apparently. It was a University Motors demo car.
Edit after Tommm's post - W.G. Everitt was the first owner after UM.

This is Bill Everitt, known as"The Q type king." Famous for his exploits in QA0251 including the Mountain 750cc lap record at 69.97mph. |

I don't agree Ray. Bill Everitt may not have had much luck on Mill Lane, but with the same car he put up ftd on a BOC speed event on 23/10/32 and won the 850cc Class three times in races at Donington. The chassis number was J2120. Information from Mike Hawke's book "How they ran". Actually, whilst he had some spectacular results with QA0251 he didn't keep it for long. He bought the new car from Abingdon on the 18/5/34 and sold it on to Manby Colegrave by the end of the year. It would seem that K3s were more to his liking.

Just to be clear, while Bill Everitt had some successes, as Colin has said, with J2120, the car in the picture is J2124. He seemingly owned both cars at the same time.
