Bernard, I have a pair of pistons & dashpots, 3171 & 31771. I have never used them, but were on a PA. The front of the pistons have been shaved away to increase air flow. The car they were on went very well. I have a piston& dashpot AUC 1331B 3" overall dia. £50.00 all 3, plus postage. hope this helps. Nick.

Hello, Bernard. I have an unmachined bell shaped dash pot and a premachined insert for it if interested. Chris P.S. From memory I think the liner comes with the piston. |

The downdraft ones had an external oil cup; the sidedraft ones did not.
Which variant are you after? |

Hi Nigel, Preferably the one without he side oiler but a side oiler one would be fine. Thanks Bernard |

Bernard, Sorry, I have probably raised false hopes; having dug out the one with a side oiler, measured it up and inspected it, I find I do have a use for it myself. My apologies, I thought it might be surplus to my requirements but it is not. Nigel. |

Nigel, No problem, your need probably greater than mine. Looks like a Beaulieu visit in due course. Thanks for looking. Bernard |
