Does anyone have a spare pair of F2 / J2 serrated washers for the windscreen stansions they can part with for my original stays I am using on an F2 styled F1

Many thanks

I'm sorry Richard, but I don't have any spare serrated washers either.

But what I would like to point out is that there are obviously serrated washers with different numbers of teeth. (See picture of post below)

At least that's the case with my ND, which has a Cox&Co windscreen from the K2's.
But it is quite possible that this problem does not exist with the F2.

If you read the VMGP website preamble, we highlight we do not claim to have full stock range in at any one time. I would not be putting out a parts request if we had these in stock now would I.

Hi Gerhard

This is really interesting, I did not know this.

I have a choice in fitting to my F1/2 a brand new pair of VMGP stansions, but I always like to use original parts where I can. I also have two pairs of original upper and lower sopports one set has the flat mount for the mirror on the drivers side and the other set is the K3 type with no mirror mount. Sadly all four are short of the serrated washers. Vintage MG Oarts never offered these separately.

It may be that I will need to have some cast as a last resort, but I will first count the number of teeth!

Thanks again for the helpful info.

Rich

Hi Richard. You will be delighted to know that the parts that you have successfully delivered to me many years ago are serving me well on my car.

Best wishes.
