Hi all, Anyone out there got a spare wheel knock-on wheel for retaining spare wheel to the frame (MG PA) that they might want to move on? Regards, Bruce

A T Type spinner will not fit. Thread size is different. Cheers, PimL1 |

I don't necessarily agree, Pim. I fitted an MG TC knock-on to the spare tire on my MG NA. Perhaps they changed the thread pitch on the later cars like the NA. I haven't tested the TC knock-on on my PA.

Front hubs for TA/B/C and (most, if not all) MMM are the same. Therefore, spinners are the same. |

Trigger warning: not the same as the road wheel.

I would like to point out that the spare wheel retaining spinner is totally different internally to a road wheel spinner. The external shape is also slightly different. It would be very difficult to modify a road wheel spinner for the spare wheel knock on. See photo.
