Looking quickly in "The Sport Car" there appears to be no mention of any MG entries at Le Mans for either 1938 or 1939 so I presume that there was no official/works backing of his entries.
Interestingly in '38 his co-driver is given in "Motor Sport" as Anne-Cecile Rose-Itier, unusual to have a lady driver. Their number was 47 finishing 12th after 165 laps.
In '39 his co-driver was Max Mathieu the pair DNF retiring after 40 laps. |
