So the same price as the other one that sold recently. How interesting.

I have been told that K3016 is regarded as one of the most original K3s, so as Simon observes most interesting.

I wonder where the lucky new owner lives?

When compared with other notable and rare items it looks an absolute bargain.

The classic cor market even at the top end is clearly depressed.

And yet … at a local car auction here in Norn Iron last Saturday a TB - admittedly a very nice looking one - went for £41,300 including buyer's premium. That’s an awful lot of money for a Triple-M chassis with a Morris 10 engine. (OK, I jest, but only just.)

Its originality is entirely due to Lyster Jackson and later by Otto Stone who owned it for 26 years and actively used it in competition for most of that time. Australians shed a tear or two when it left our shores after more than 40 years.
