I am running another batch of 50 dashlamps at the moment (black on chrome), with options for std model 138 degree or racing model 180 degree light slots.

These were advertised for pre-sale yesterday lunchtime on the Vintage MG Parts Facebook which is where we announce all our latest news and projects.

As at the time of writing already a staggering 40 out of the 50 units are reserved. I think it will be too late to extend the batch although do feel free to email direct any enthusiasts who think they need a set. This is without obligation at this stage.

These lamps are the only exact copy reproductions since the factory days (apart from our earlier two batches) and not an approximate rendition. We have meticulously copied a Dashlamp from the original factory prototype L2. Just 10 lamps left as of today.

The email address is enquiries@vintagemgparts.com

Thanks

Rich

Much to my amazement, the 50 dash lamps we advertised last week were all pre-sold in 48 hours which I find staggering.

We have had to extend the batch to 74 lamps with more orders than stock. This will leave us with just 5 pairs unallocated.

If any enthusiasts require a set then please can they email me ASAP as we are only making enough tops for bases. With the tops, there is an option to have the standard 138 deg light slot as per F2/J2/L2 or, the 180 degree light slots as per the J4 and K3.

If ordering, only please do so through emailing us direct to; enquiries@vintageMGParts.com as otherwise we may miss any response to here to this post.

Regards

Rich

As of now, just 1 remaining pair of 135 degree J/L dashlamps unallocated. 37 pairs being made in total for this one-off batch by VMGP. These are our in-house product so not available elsewhere

An incredible response. Well done enthusiasts!

WOW, 34 pairs of dashlamps sold within a week, and here's me & S&V thinking the market is dying.
Cannot believe there are 34 cars being restored all reuiring dashlamps, but there you go; especially as I had 5 prs of ORIGINALS on my stand at Stoneleigh at £95pair, and only one pair sold..
Congratulations for keeping the market alive.

Indeed. It's also great to hear that demand still emerges for these projects.

No, the market is not dying, there are still lots of projects out there being worked on and more projects emerging all the time.

At Vintage MG Parts we continually clock all parts enquiry lines on who wants what, when we judge there being sufficient demand, we run a feasibility exercise and we take it from there. It’s the modern way, all based on trust, reputation and, attention to all the small detail.

Thank you to all for everyone’s continued commercial support.
